In a large mixing bowl, mix the butter and caster sugar until light, then add the eggs and some of the flour.

Add the baking powder, mashed bananas, remaining flour, and mix until well combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf tin, ensuring an even distribution.

Place the tin in the preheated oven and bake for 50 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.

Once baked, remove the banana loaf from the oven and allow it to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
