Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Cook the onion, stirring occasionally, until softened.

Add garlic and stir while cooking until you can smell the fragrance, this should take about 1 minute.

Add ground beef, salt and pepper, cook while breaking it up with a spoon until it loses its pink colour. Drain excess fat.

Mix in the tomato paste until everything is well coated.

Add in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, paprika, and macaroni.

Simmer and stir occasionally until the pasta is tender, which should take about 10-15 minutes.

Mix the cheese until it has melted, then add salt and pepper.

Take off the heat and sprinkle some parsley on top.
